Daikin Release New Round Flow Cassettes with Re-Designed Decoration Panels

Daikin has relaunched the Round Flow Cassette with a brand-new streamlined designer look, in white or black, and with new technologies that deliver even better comfort while minimising energy costs.

With its advanced design and smart technology, the Round Flow Cassette has earned the accolade of being more energy efficient and comfortable than any other cassette available on the market.

Its impressive 360° air discharge capability and the intelligent sensors assure even coverage and temperatures throughout the whole room space, while only operating as needed. Unique to Daikin, the Round Flow Cassette has an automatic cleaning filter option which regularly cleans the filter, saving up to 50% in energy over standard models.

In developing the new Round Flow Cassette, Daikin drew upon customer research which revealed that the three most important aspects for users were its compact size, the level of comfort and aesthetics - attributes which have all been considered in the latest generation model.

Inclusive, visually appealing design

Daikin tested out various design options for their aesthetic qualities. Responding to customer choice, the new designer panel offers a luxury, high tech feel, with a streamlined appearance that blends in easily with any décor. The air intake grilles are invisible, giving it a very sleek appearance. The designer panel, as well as the standard and auto cleaning panels are all available in black and white, increasing the line-up of panels up to seven models.

Compact size

Being the most compact unit available on the market at a height of 204mm, the new Round Flow Cassette offers greater design flexibility to suit the building environment and different structural constraints.

Providing best-ever comfort

Building on the proven design of the Round Flow cassette, Daikin has applied new technology, raising the bar again in comfort and energy efficiency.

New wider flaps provide better airflow, improving room coverage thanks to the Coanda effect. Individual control and/or closure via wired remote control allows customisation to suit specific room configurations.

A new Active Circulation Airflow logic has been added as well. Activated on startup, this new feature ensures the room reaches the designated set temperature in the fastest, yet most efficient way. The Active Circulation Airflow results in a faster startup and delivers energy savings of 5% in cooling mode and up to 15% in heating mode.

Concludes Juliana Beltran Torres, Product manager at Daikin Europe:

“By actively listening to our customers we have taken the new concept of climate control to a greater standard of energy efficiency and comfort all year round, whilst maintaining aesthetic appeal even for the most complex of interior design requirements.”
