Fresh Air Upgrade for A.G. Barr

A.G. Barr approached our customer with a brief to design a modern, efficient fresh-air solution for their food preparation area. The space previously relied on six outdated evaporative coolers that no longer met the needs of the facility.

We worked with our customer (Dan Air) to deliver a fully redesigned system, complete with schematics, product guidance, and ongoing support. After reviewing the requirements, the team selected Panasonic’s New Generation 2-Pipe ECOi EX MZ1 Series (R32)—chosen specifically for its performance, energy savings, and enhanced indoor air quality through nanoe™ X technology. The result is a 90kW fresh-air and heat-recovery system that provides cleaner air, improved comfort, and long-term efficiency.

The team primarily chose this system for its nanoe™ X technology, which delivers significantly improved indoor air quality. They were also influenced by several additional advantages, including its energy-efficient R32 refrigerant, future-proof expandability, and compatibility with ventilation and control integrations such as ERVs, AHU kits, and BMS monitoring—making it an ideal solution for a food production environment.

Dan Air worked closely with our Area Sales Manager, Lisa, who played a crucial role in keeping the project running seamlessly from initial design through to commissioning. Her competitive pricing, quick problem-solving, and ability to adapt to design changes helped ensure everything stayed on track. With her industry experience, proactive communication, and coordination of timely kit delivery and commissioning, Dan Air felt fully supported throughout the process.
