Environmentally-Friendlier Refrigerant & Inverter Technology

Using R32 refrigerant, they offer lower global warming potential and higher energy transfer efficiency compared to R410A systems. Panasonic’s inverter compressor technology, combined with DC fans and intelligent control features, ensures consistent, efficient operation even in extreme temperatures—from –20 °C in heating to 46 °C in cooling. Commercial single, twin, triple and double-twin systems

The Panasonic PACi NX Series allows a single outdoor unit to power up to four indoor units simultaneously, ensuring even temperature distribution and consistent comfort throughout larger or shared spaces. Ideal for offices, retail areas, and common zones, this system reduces noise concentration while optimising energy use across multiple units.

Compatible with a wide range of Panasonic indoor unit types — including wall-mounted, cassette, ducted hide-away, and ceiling models — it provides outstanding design flexibility and installation versatility. R22 Renewal - Reuse existing pipework

Panasonic’s “R22 Renewal” program enables installers to re-use good-quality existing R22 refrigerant piping when upgrading split-system or PACi standard units to the latest, more efficient lines (R32 / R410A), without needing major modifications or extra accessories - apart from pipe reductions.

Key conditions apply: the existing pipes must be clean, dry, tight, and free from corrosion or oil residue; thickness must meet specified criteria; and all flare nuts and joints must comply with the newer refrigerant’s requirements.

This approach offers roughly 30% energy savings vs. old R22 systems while easing compliance with regulations, reducing installation time, and lowering cost for both installers and clients.

R2 Rotary Compressor

The Panasonic R2 rotary compressor delivers standout efficiency, reliability, and quiet performance—ideal for installers designing split-system air conditioners. Built with a rolling-piston design, enhanced steel materials, and a PVD-coated vane, the R2 offers high discharge pressure, reduced wear, and long-term durability.

Thanks to its simple, symmetrical internal parts, it is compact and lightweight, making installation easier while keeping costs down. Noise is minimised through an upper cylinder discharge, enhanced bearing construction, and redesigned vibration control.

Fully IoT-integrated, it allows detailed system monitoring, maintenance, and diagnostics through the Panasonic H&C Diagnosis App, giving installers and service engineers access to real-time data and easy configuration. Whether for homes, offices, or large commercial systems, Panasonic CONEX ensures smart control, effortless maintenance, and total comfort management from anywhere.

Smart Connectivity for PACi Systems

Advanced connectivity for greater control, monitoring, and convenience is here. With the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app, users can remotely manage temperature, operation modes, scheduling, and energy consumption directly from a smartphone or tablet.

To enable Wi-Fi control, the PACi indoor unit can be connected using the Panasonic CZ-CAPWFC2 interface adaptor, allowing full access to system functions through the app. For residential and light commercial environments that use Panasonic domestic networks, PACi systems can also be integrated into S-Link control systems using the CZ-CAPRA1 adaptor, enabling multiple units to be combined and managed as part of a unified control platform.

BMS & System Integration

Each Free Multi and PACi indoor unit can accommodate a communication port for seamless BMS integration, enabling full control of your Panasonic system via KNX, Modbus, BACnet, or Panasonic’s S-Link bus.
