Fujitsu General Air Conditioning
Optimised Refrigerant Strategy for Compliance and Performance
Fujitsu adopts a dual refrigerant strategy across its light commercial and residential ranges. R32 refrigerant is used across most systems to deliver higher efficiency, lower GWP, and reduced refrigerant charge, supporting current and future compliance requirements.
For applications requiring very high static pressure or large ducted capacities, R410A systems remain available, ensuring engineers can meet airflow and performance demands where R32 platforms are not technically suitable. This approach provides flexibility without limiting specification options.
Clear System Selection for Accurate Specification
Fujitsu’s light commercial and residential range is clearly structured to support accurate system selection, with distinct options covering single split wall mounted, compact ducted, medium static, and high static pressure systems.
This enables correct specification of airflow, capacity, and duct performance for each application, helping to minimise oversizing, reduce installation challenges, and simplify commissioning.
The result is predictable, reliable performance across homes, offices, retail environments, and hospitality spaces where load conditions and installation constraints can vary widely.
Commissioning Flexibility and Year-Round Operation
Fujitsu light commercial systems are designed to support reliable commissioning and stable operation across varying site conditions.
Features such as automatic airflow adjustment, configurable static pressure settings, and cooling operation down to –15 °C on selected models help engineers achieve correct airflow and performance without extensive manual tuning.
Availability of single-phase and three-phase outdoor units further improves suitability for both residential and commercial electrical infrastructures.
Compact Indoor Units for Restricted Ceiling Voids
Many Fujitsu ducted indoor units are designed with reduced chassis height and compact footprints, making them ideal for restricted ceiling voids commonly found in residential and refurbishment projects.
Slim duct and medium static ranges prioritise ease of handling, flexible return air configurations, and straightforward access for servicing. This focus on physical installability helps engineers complete installs faster, avoid structural alterations, and maintain service access in tight ceiling spaces.
