Does the design have to be done in branch?
Yes — all design consultations take place in branch with one of our design team. We have three showrooms across Scotland — Perth, Airdrie and Macmerry.
Do I need measurements or plans before visiting?
Basic measurements or photos are helpful but not essential. We'd recommend calling your branch ahead of your visit so the team can prepare.
Is there a cost for the design service?
Your initial design consultation is free with no commitment required. Our team will always be upfront about what's involved before proceeding.
Which branch should I visit?
We'd recommend visiting your nearest branch — Perth, Airdrie or Macmerry. It's worth calling ahead to check which styles and brands are on display before making the trip.
Do you supply the products as well?
Yes — once your design is agreed, we supply everything specified through Oceanair. All bathroom furniture and sanitaryware is available through our branches rather than online.
Is this service available to installers and trade customers?
Absolutely — we regularly support plumbing and heating engineers, contractors and developers. Trade accounts are available.
Can you include underfloor heating in the design?
Yes — we supply both water-based and electric infrared underfloor heating systems, specified to suit your floor type and construction.
How long does the design process take?
An initial consultation typically takes between 30 minutes and an hour. Timescales for further design work will be discussed during your consultation.
