Description
The Reliance CPT15 pressure and temperature relief valve protects unvented hot water systems from excessive temperature and pressure caused by control failure. Installed in the upper section of the cylinder, it responds to high temperatures where risk is greatest.
If water temperature exceeds 95 °C, the wax-filled sensor activates the valve to discharge safely to waste. In pressure-only conditions, the valve remains closed until the set pressure limit is reached, then opens to relieve excess pressure and protect the system
