Description

The Scalemaster Inhibited Antifreeze 5 L is formulated for use in new central heating systems, underfloor heating, heat pumps and solar panel systems, helping protect installations from freezing while maintaining effective system performance. The treatment should be dosed at 25 litres per 100 litres of system capacity (25%) to achieve the NSF CIAS performance standard, with additional antifreeze available if further freeze protection is required. The product can be introduced into the system through a filling loop, drained radiator, powered flushing machine, or Feed & Expansion tank, after which the circulation pump should be run to distribute the solution evenly throughout the system. For best results the antifreeze should be diluted with demineralised, softened, or mains water, and systems treated with antifreeze should be drained and refilled every five years to maintain effective protection.
